TMJC Rock Climbing aims to provide opportunities for students to acquire basic climbing skills, promote sportsmanship and develop qualities of leadership, resilience and team spirit. Students will gain exposure to different climbing walls and receive relevant trainings as well as Certifications for Basic Climbing Level 1 and Basic Climbing Level 2 by a Singapore Mountaineering Federation certified instructor. The Team will participate in various Climbing Competitions for greater exposure and the annual ‘A’ Division Climbing Championship for both the Bouldering Category as well as the Speed Category. The Rock Climbing experience will enable students to hone their leadership skills and emerge as athletes of grit and tenacity.
